Rainwater economy “RAINY”

We are a company that places great stress on environmental protection. As an inseparable part of this approach, there is also reasonable rainwater treatment and economy. We understand reasonable treatment as economy close to nature, that is economy that imitates natural cycle of water to a maximum possible extent. Let’s leave water in its natural environment, that is in the place where it falls.

What does the “RAINY” system include?

Over the past years, where there is less and less water, storing and using rainwater is discussed ever more frequently. For this reason, we decided to offer you a complex solution.

It is a group of individual facilities for rainwater storage and economy and its subsequent use.

At first, it is important to realize the volume of accumulation to be provided for. In our assortment, there is a large scale of laminated tanks (LAM) from 1,3 m3 up to 30 m2. These tanks are used for rainwater accumulation, but they can also be used as carry out cesspools to your cottage or other recreation facility. It is possible to equip the tanks with mechanic water level monitoring for a quick check of the water level within the tank. We offer mechanical water level monitoring due to maximum simplicity and reliability. It is also a great advantage that no electricity is needed, and thus no further investments in operation. Look here for all these tanks and their more precise specifications.

As a precursor to these tanks, we recommend placing an inspection and filtration well with removable bin (RFŠ1), which is used as a filter prior to the rainwater entering the tank, thus providing for its protection. Due to the construction of this shaft, rainwater is cleaned from leaves and similar debris, which are held in the removable bin. The next degree of filtration is provided for by the sedimentation space below the outlet pipe, which cleans sand shingle and prevents silting of the tank. Look here for further information on this shaft.

According to the local soil conditions, it is possible to place a soakage gallery (WATGAL) behind the accumulation tank. Perforated pipes provide for balanced soaking of rainwater into the soil. Thanks to its construction, this product is not very demanding as to space during transport and its subsequent assembly is also simple. These soakage galleries may simply be folded into “any” size and shape. The placement is therefore very variable. Look here for further information and more precise description of this product.

There are different ways to use the accumulated rainwater. Among the most frequent, there is watering the garden and use inside the house, e.g. to flush toilets. When the water is only used for watering, it is enough to settle the tank with classical sludge pump. We make effort to determine the precise type of pump together with the customer, based on the size of the watered garden and the tank volume. In case of using rainwater inside the house, it is necessary to install a filter for mechanical debris on the entry of the pipe into the house; this prevents damage and soiling the pipe, or the toilet tank, for example. In this option, we recommend using household water pumping station instead of classical pump, ideally situated in the tank directly. This helps you to avoid noise and also saves place inside the house. The water pumping station we offer as a standard is furnished with a pressure switch, in-built safety-fuse for dry running; it is not necessary to connect an expansion tank to the system, and the pressure from the pump is constant and non-fluctuating.
