Principles of personal data protection

As a company dealing with technologies for water economy, operating on the European Union market, we carefully monitor the protection of privacy, and as a personal data controller, we proceed in protecting the data in accordance with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/ES (General Data Protection Regulation).

These principles of personal data protection describe our procedures of processing and protecting your personal data in connection with this website.

1.  What personal data we process

While you’re visiting this website, we collect the following information:

Date and time of access to the website, your IP address, name and version of your browser, web address (URL) which you used to access this website, Cookies (see Section 2), and eventually data you fill in yourselves in the contact form.

You have no obligation to provide us with the data we require on this website. However, in such case we cannot guarantee the full scope of use on this website.

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

5. Maintaining customer agenda (realization of job orders and business and the obligations and liabilities resulting therefrom)

4. Legal base for processing personal data

The legal base for processing your personal data is as follows:

  • According to Sections 3/ 1 to 3/ 3 above - our rightful interest to fulfil the individual purposes defined in Sections 3/ 1 to 3/ 3; 

  • According to Section 3/ 4 above – the necessity to deal with customer agenda resulting from the realization of job orders/business;

  • According to Section 3/ 5 above – the necessity to perform your order/contract for order/business performance.

5. The provision of your personal data

For the above purposes, your personal data may be provided to third parties, in order to provide for their processing for the above purposes (e.g. the provider of webhosting, the provider of IT services, the providers of forwarding services, etc.)

All our partners are bound to non-disclosure via a non-disclosure close or a contract on personal data (PD) processing. Your PD are only processed in the Czech Republic.

 6. Period of storage of personal data

Data relating to Sections 3/ 1 to 3/ 3 are stored for 3 months. Any eventual additional period will only be used in a scope necessary to investigate reported attacks on our website.

Data relating to Sections 3/ 4 and 3/ 5 are stored throughout the validity of the contractual relationship (the realization of a job order/business) and the settlement of all obligations and liabilities, as well as valid legal regulations, e.g. for the area of accounting, tax registration, etc. If the personal data relate to job orders in which longer archiving of such data is required, they are stored according to these conditions - e.g. in case of drawing grants. 

7. Your rights in connection with providing personal data

In accordance with valid legal regulations on the protection of personal data, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restrict processing and limitation of provision of your personal data to third parties.

You have the right to file a claim to the EU supervisory body or CZ supervisory body, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection, if you believe the European or Czech Act on the protection of personal data was violated. 

8. Google Analytics

This website uses the service Google Analytics, a web analytical service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Google uses the so-called Cookies, text files stored in your computer, allowing for the analysis of your website. We process your personal data on the basis of our mostly rightful interest to create easily accessible and cost-effective statistics of access to our website.

Information regarding your use of this website (including IP address, URL address, etc.), generated by means of Cookie files, will be transferred to servers of Google in the U.S.A., where they will be stored. Our company stores no data collected by means of the service Google Analytics.

This website uses the option of IP address anonymization by way of Google Analytics. Your IP address will be shortened / anonymized by Google as soon as it receives your IP address. Google will use such data to assess the utilization of our website, to compile summaries of activities on our website, and to provide other web and Internet services. The IP address acquired by means of your browser will not be connected with other data of Google. 

9. Security of personal data

Company VODA CZ, s.r.o., uses all reasonable mesures to provide for non-disclosure, safety and integrity of your personal data. Access of users to personal data is only possible according to set authorizations.

All our employees have been informed about the principles of protecting personal data of our customers.
